Nourishing Families
with Beef That's Done Right

Clean, nutrient-dense beef from ranchers who care about your family as much as our own

Beef Raised Nature's Way

No shortcuts, no compromises—just exceptional beef raised with integrity

At Diamond H Ranch, "grass-fed and grass-finished" isn't just a marketing claim—it's our foundation. With Michael's 43 years of cattle experience, we've carefully selected Black Angus genetics that thrive on grass alone, creating beef that's tender, flavorful, and nutrient-dense in ways only properly-raised grass-finished beef can be.

Our regenerative approach means our cattle are continuously moved to fresh pastures, allowing the land to heal and grow stronger with each season. This regenerative cycle creates healthier soil, more nutritious forage, and ultimately, more nutritious beef for your family. It's a difference you can taste—and feel good about.

A Family Committed to Better Beef

Where hard work, family values, and premium beef come together

Meet the Heuer family—Michael, Nikki, and our kids—the heart and soul of Diamond H Ranch. We established our ranch in central Missouri in 2019, but our story goes back much further. Michael's lifelong passion for cattle began with his first bottle calf as a child, and now we're raising our own children in this same ranching tradition.

Every day at Diamond H Ranch is a family affair. From rotating cattle through nutrient-rich pastures to harvesting plants and schooling horses, we work together as a team committed to producing the most flavorful, nutrient-dense beef possible. When you choose Diamond H Ranch, you're not just getting beef—you're sharing in our family's dedication to doing things the right way.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Diamond H Ranch meats different from grocery store options?

Our animals are raised on regenerative pastures using sustainable practices that prioritize animal welfare and environmental health. We've carefully incorporated old world genetics into our herd, and our Angus cattle are specifically bred to thrive on grass only, unlike many commercial selectively bred cattle. This careful genetic selection, combined with our regenerative practices, results in meat that's more flavorful, nutritious, and ethically produced than conventional alternatives, with no added hormones or antibiotics.

Are your animals 100% grass-fed and finished?

Our beef and lamb are both grass-fed and grass-finished, meaning they spend their entire lives on pasture eating their natural diet. Our pork and poultry are pasture-raised with supplemental non-GMO feed to ensure optimal health and flavor.

Do you add nitrates, preservatives, or other additives to your meat?

No. We believe in keeping our products as natural as possible. Our bacon and sausages use natural curing methods without artificial nitrates or preservatives. The only ingredients we add are natural seasonings and spices.

How does shipping work?

We offer free shipping throughout the contiguous 48 states.

On our small box orders, we ship each week on Mondays via UPS. These orders are packed well with insulation and dry ice to ensure a frozen delivery.

For our 1/4, 1/2, or whole beef share orders, we ship weekly with a private frozen shipping company. These orders are temperature controlled at 0 - -10 degrees throughout transit to ensure EVERYTHING arrives frozen solid, to your door.

What does "regenerative agriculture" mean?

Regenerative agriculture goes beyond sustainable farming by actively improving soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem function. Our practices include rotational grazing, avoiding synthetic chemicals, and maintaining permanent vegetation coverage, all of which capture carbon and build resilience.

Where is Diamond H Ranch located?

Our ranch is located in Missouri, where our diverse landscape provides ideal conditions for raising animals on pasture year-round. We maintain direct oversight of our animals throughout their lives to ensure our high standards are consistently met.
